We're finally at the end of what can only be described as a challenging year and we'd like to say a huge Thank You for your amazing entries to the Dannells #memadeshade Instagram competition, that have kept lampshade making inspiration and creativity flowing throughout the year.
With nearly 2,500 entries, not only have you all had a chance of winning, but have helped create a fabulous library of gorgeous lampshades, to help inspire new and existing makers. There really is nothing we love more than seeing your style, ideas and creations!
And in a #memadeshade first, we're pleased to announce a second-time winner, Eva of @lafabricar, with this stunning shade pink velvet shade with an intricate floral wallpaper interior using our double-sided PVC. Her shades ooze simple sophistication and class and you can read our previous winner's interview with Eva here.

Enter our #memadeshade competition
For 2021, the #memadeshade competition will back with a bang and with a chance of winning £100 worth of Dannells vouchers, there is really no excuse not to proudly snap your finished lampshade making kit.
Still super easy to enter, just make a lampshade from any of our lampshade making kits and follow the steps below. The January competition will be taking entries from 1st January 2021.

Simply take a picture of your proudest lampshade from one of our kits and enter on Instagram following the steps below:
Follow @needcraft if you haven’t already
Post an image of a lampshade you’ve made from an @needcraft lampshade making kit and tag with #memadeshade and the type of kit you used i.e 30cm Drum shade kits, Square kit etc.
And any size and shape can be entered so display those drums shades, exhibit your empires and reveal your rectangles – any lampshade from one of our kits counts!
