Are you new to using Dannells lampshade making supplies, craft, and hobby products or are you a seasoned user?
I am a new user of the Dannells lampshade kits, using them in my studies to transfer the patterns I created on my Surface Pattern degree, onto products.
What can you tell us about the Dannells product(s) that you won the #MakeWithDannells May competition with?
I used the 20cm drum kit to create a small table lamp with my own fabric design and recycled glass bottle.
How would you describe your creative style?
Characterful designs that are bold and vibrant.
What was the inspiration behind your winning entry?
The winning design is part of a whole collection based on endangered animals. Designs are digitally printed to reduce chemical and water waste. Colours are inspired by colour theory research.
What is it that you like most about Dannells lampshade making supplies, craft, and hobby products?
Clear and easy instructions to follow when making the lampshades and easy to do on your own, plus a great range of sizes and shapes of lampshades.
How have Dannells products helped you develop your business?
I am only just starting out, but they help me to create products with my own designs and create products in the area of home interiors, where I am most passionate.
What other creative hobbies do you dabble in?
I also paint pet portraits for people and dabble in hand embroidery from time to time. One of the lampshades I created for my final undergraduate project, which included hand embroidery as well as print.
