Visit Dannells' at CHSI stitches

With Craft Show season in full swing David and Jamie, the Dannells' directors have been hopping all over Europe showing off the Dannells’ product range, but the team are back on well known home turf this weekend at CHSI Stitches at the Birmingham NEC.


Taking place from Sunday 17th February to Tuesday 18th February, CHSI Stitches is packed with new ideas and innovative suppliers. It’s a destination for craft buyers – all 6,000 of them - to discover the next big thing, take in new crafting trends, educate themselves in new creative techniques and be inspired by all things crafty!


You’ll be able to find us on Stand A38 and we’ll have our full product range with us, so if you’re interested in stocking lampshades making kits in your craft store, we’ll have plenty of examples to inspire you, from large drum lampshades to beautiful floor lamps, to our range of sparkling LED lights.


Also proving very popular with haberdashers, craft shops and makers are our Needcraft range of creative craft kits. Including clock, waste basket and lantern kits, this year we’re showcasing our Textile wall art kits with a free workshop, by our in house demonstrator, Sam Sterken, who you may know from our library of You Tube tutorials.


The CHSI Dannells product workshops take place in the custom built classrooms at the back of the main hall and can be booked here.


On Monday 17th February, Sam will demonstrate step by step how to make up a Textile Wall Art kit at 12.45pm and each attendee will leave the workshop with a Textile Art Kit, to make up in their own choice of fabric at home. We love that they are the perfect vehicle for adding pattern or style to a room, using your favourite fabrics.


You can also catch Sam later in the day at 4.30pm, demonstrating one of our most popular lampshade making kits – the 30 cm drum lampshade. Pick up hints and tips on how to make a professional shade from Sam, as she takes you through every stage of making up the kit and as the workshop is informal and friendly, there will even be an opportunity for questions as you go along.
