Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and the creative things that you do?
I have a small lampshade business in East Denmark. Over the years, my homes have - and still are - filled with a wonderful mix of old classics, modern designs and then a lot of "me". Large framed posters, industrial retro, plants and colourful elements. My handmade lampshades reflect a bit of it all.
Are you a newbie lampshade maker or have you made up a Needcraft Lampshade making kit before?
I’ve been making shades since 2019. The possibilities are almost endless, and the art is to create THE lampshade that speaks to the individual. Skumringstid means the time of twilight.
What do you love about the shade you entered for the #memadeshade competition?
I really like fabrics from Alexander Henry, but this can be hard to get hold of in Denmark. I was lucky… one of my customers had a piece of Frida's garden, and she sold it to me.
What do you like most about the Needcraft lampshade making kits?
I’ve been using Needcraft since I started and I’m very satisfied with the product.
